I am not sure how common the term dogging, so I shall give you a brief intro. Dogging is a British euphemism for engaging in sexual acts in a semi-public place (typically a secluded car park in a car) and then watching others doing so. Frequently, there are more than two participants; both group sex and gang banging can be included. As observation is encouraged, voyeurism and exhibitionism are closely associated with dogging.
You may be even less familiar with the Phoenix Park. The Phoenix Park is the largest enclosed urban park in Europe located to the north west of Dublin city centre in Ireland.
The Phoenix Park is a massive cruising ground and can be ripe with rent boys and for years various groups of my friends have driven down there to, well, basically gawp at the freak show. You can actually have quite a laugh getting cars to follow yours to secluded areas before revealing that the car is actually full of people and then watching them speed off. Other times we have been chased out of the park by angry cruisers or followed all the way back to our estates. As I said this is a fun past time that many of my friends have enjoyed. We usually do it in someones car...
But not this time.
It was about 1am and Michael, Tania and myself were just sitting around talking on MSN about Tania's birthday plans and various other things. All three of us equally bored, then Michael suggested a late night stroll. This lead to us to walking down to the Phoenix Park, which in the middle of the night is fucking scary. The three of us were practically clinging to each other for the first while.
The three of us got excited when we realized that this was the first summer adventure of 2010 and we decided that we would have some fun. I was going to proposition a cruiser as they drove past whilst Tania and Michael hid in the buses. Even though it was almost 3am at this point there was still some cruising traffic. I stood under a street lamp and car started to slow down, as it pulled in beside us the others revealed themselves and we laughed and joked about it, waiting for the car to speed off. But it didn't, instead blue lights started flashing, it was an unmarked police car. We fell about laughing, what are the chances that the first car we come across is a police car.
The three of us were in stitches as the police officer asked us what we were doing. We explained that we were just out for a stroll. The outing was a real blast and we talked about trivial things and about our plans for the summer. It was almost 5am by the time we got home.
We have plans to do it again, real soon.
